I liked the idea of Vachel translating what Dee said, but didn’t find that it worked smoothly enough to be a regular gag. But the couple times I used it, I enjoyed it.

It was great. A wonderful gag. Vachel’s vulture attitude and Dee’s imperiousness. One of the recurring jokes I liked best.
Trouble with re-reading this strip is that it always makes me want cake! ;D
