@Herandar, I think the location is tapped onto Christopher in some way, so that when he lived in the Pacific Northwest, that’s were their forest was; now that he has moved to upstate New York (?) the magic stretchy string attached to his pen has dragged the location across the country, so now it’s in the forest just outside his current residence. Rather like how the Hundred Acre Woods will always be where Christopher Robin is.
Aren’t fireflies only found in the Eastern half of the US? And only in the summer? And isn’t Orion a WINTER constellation? I’m amazed Blake is anywhere at all, now.
Orion is usually a winter constellation, in the northern hemisphere. However, it can be seen very early in the AM in June when fireflies can also be about.
Never mind fireflies in the morning; what’s BLAKE doing trying to navigate home in the wee hours?
