I was visiting a friend who was using these to tackle a mole problem. About as cruel-free as you can go, but still seems like it’d be unpleasant. The point, I guess.

Where I live they don’t seem to bother the moles all that much, but they do wonders with keeping the prairie dogs out of the garden.
A couple of those from Harbor Freight seem to have helped. The windmill device never made a difference. Maybe greasing the bearing jinxed the thing. It must have been designed to squeak as it turned…
