There is always the alternate order: _if_ you like to wear black, _then_ you get a black pet.
I myself have both a black and a white/orange cat; this way I can be certain that whatever I wear, I can have contras….um, COORDINATING. “Coordinating cat hair” is what I meant to say.
We aren’t going to talk about what the cats actually do.
