I SO love a real holiday tree. The smell, the ambiance when the tree lights are the only lights lit. But it does seem so wasteful. I always think I should wait and pick one up off the street after the holidays, which still has a second life in it.
It’s not very satisfying to be mean to someone who doesn’t get it. Well, heck, for that matter it’s not very satisfying to be mean to someone who DOES get it.
Be nice. It’s a good way to be.
This is what I look like when I say I don’t want offered cookies.
And WHAT??!!! You still haven’t done your holiday shopping? Do it now! Might I suggest buying “Little Dee” (or “Spacetrawler”) books and merchandise! (and the Little Dee books will be not available after the end of the year due to contract stuff for the new graphic novel coming out, so BUY NOW!)
Of course, it really isn’t that much of an issue if the car is in cinderblocks.
Oh, and for the holidays, might I suggest buying “Little Dee” (or “Spacetrawler”) books and merchandise! (and the Little Dee books will be not available after the end of the year due to contract stuff for the new graphic novel coming out, so BUY NOW!)
I am a life-long vegetarian. Growing up it was lasagna every year, and it as the best thing EVER. But Froot Loops would be pretty nice too.
I’m not so fond of the added history of this holiday (I like the original harvest festival idea), but I do love the food and the friends and the family.
And I’m on my way to stay with family now. But, don’t worry, you’ll get ALL of your comics, even on Thanksgiving. :)
I’m not sure if the theme this week is leaves or donuts.
I’m looking out my window and realized I got in some raking comedy RIGHT BEFORE it was to late. I would have been more acutely aware of it, if I’d actually raked this year. Count my blessings.
