I love it when you suggest something “beneficial” or a “learning experience” to a kid, and they give you “that look” which says “I wish I could lock you in a box and laugh about it.”

My nephew recruited me. Although, in his case, he was very helpful. But it gave me this idea for a comic! :)
I SO love a real holiday tree. The smell, the ambiance when the tree lights are the only lights lit. But it does seem so wasteful. I always think I should wait and pick one up off the street after the holidays, which still has a second life in it.
